This 2FT LED T8 tube is designed for commercial and industrial fluorescent retrofit projects that require flexible installation and field-selectable output. It supports Type A+B installation, selectable 5W/6W/8W/9W/10W wattage settings, and five selectable color temperatures from 3500K to 6500K.

Flexible Type A+B Installation

Use the tube with a compatible existing electronic T8 ballast for Type A plug-and-play installation, or bypass the ballast for direct 120–277V Type B operation. Ballast-bypass installation supports either single-ended or double-ended wiring.

Commercial Applications

Suitable for dry and damp indoor locations including offices, schools, factories, hospitals and other commercial facilities. Operating temperature range is 4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C).

Is this LED T8 tube Type A or Type B?

It supports both Type A and Type B installation. Type A can operate with a compatible electronic T8 ballast. For Type B installation, the ballast is bypassed and the tube operates directly on 120–277V line voltage.

The 2FT model offers selectable 5W, 6W, 8W, 9W and 10W settings with a maximum rated output of 1,516 lumens.

The tube provides five selectable CCT settings: 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 5700K and 6500K.
